A park on Lake Maggiore

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end... Read more »

YES to 100% Inflation

inflation-screenshot

Mark Dice asks people to sign a petition to cause hyper-inflation and destroy the US Dollar. I don’t always agree with Mark Dice’s comentaries and opinions, but there is still value to them. Yes, even the ones I don’t agree with. In this video you will see how easily he found people willing to sign his petition to cause hyperinflation by increasing inflation to 100%. Amazingly, or not so much if you have paid attention to the less-than-desirable educational system, he doesn’t use any trickery or fast talk to get signers. He actually goes into a fair amount of detail [...] Read more »

The Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan, Animated

carl-sagan-pale-blue-dot-animation-image

Very cool video animation of a narration by Carl Sagan. Pale Blue Dot – Animation from Ehdubya on Vimeo. I’ve been enrolled in illustration at Sheridan College for the the last 4 years and this is my final thesis project. I have always thought of Carl Sagan’s writings as “scientific poetry” since they lack the cold touch that science is often cursed for having. I think Sagan’s words resonate more than ever, and will continue with each generation until the human species “wakes up”. The first time I heard this excerpt from his book “Pale Blue Dot” it literally changed [...] Read more »

Washington DC Makes Charlie Sheen Look Sane

Monday Funday

Considering how poorly Charlie Sheen's tour debut went, some might accuse this week's Monday Funday of kicking the Charlie when he's down. Guilty! The first video here could be considered educational, but how sad is it when your insane antics are used in comparison to Washington's behavior with our money? It would be twice as funny if it weren't so frighteningly true. Read more »

Secret Video, Syrians Support Murderous King or Facebook Users on Parade

Facebook Sheep

It's hard to imagine, given the scenes escaping from amateur videographers in Syria, but President Assad was able to parade supporters after this week's firing of his government and his speech bragging about his deadly attacks against protesters. If I were one of these supporters being marched before the cameras, I'd be a little worried about what's going to happen when I got to the end of the parade route. Read more »

Syrian Police Begin Killing Protesters, Clinton Responds

Syrian protesters hide from automatic weapon fire from police

As stability declines and protests increase throughout the middle east, Syrian police begin opening fire on crowds-apparently indiscriminately. The Syrian government has claimed that they were forced to fire on violent protesters after they began attacking medical personnel which resulted in a few deaths. As the amateur videos included here show, there were most likely more than a few deaths and many more injured. Although it is impossible to confirm the amateur video, the playlist begins with an Al Jazeera report that includes similar clips for comparison. One thing is clear from the extensive collection of videos from the region now being posted online, the new war photographer is anyone with a camera phone. Read more »

Former Union Official Exposes SEIU Plot to Destroy U.S. Economy, Congressman Requests Investigation

Manifest Money

Mr. Chaffetz's letter to Holder says, “The escalation of Mr. Lerner’s threats would clearly constitute domestic terrorism and pose substantial harm to the American people and the economy. I am therefore requesting that you investigate Mr. Lerner’s terrorist plans and notify me how the Department of Justice plans to respond to these threats.” Read more »
